LG Cell Phones has made a phone for the accident prone, beach bums, water drinkers, rain lovers and anyone else often near water a phone they can really understand. The CanU 502S is LG Cell Phones waterproof phone and what an idea it is. It's available in Korea exclusively for now which means it will not be available for sale with Verizon Cell Phones or other US carriers at this time. However when technology does well it typically spreads, that's just the nature of the beast.
Honestly who doesn't want LG Cell Phones new waterproof phone? This author has literally ruined four or five phones from water use. Yes my past Verizon Cell Phones did not fair well. What was the problem exactly? Nothing specific just the fact that I am rough with my possessions and expect a lot from them. That in turn has led to the deaths of many of my personal items. I know I'm not the only one either. I could drop numerous names in this article, those I know who've lost their phones to toilet drops, drink spills, being pushed into pools fully clothed, and the list goes on.
This new device from LG Cell Phones can withstand any of the aforementioned abuse. In fact, it can last up to 30 minutes fully submerged in water. So if you break this phone you can really only blame yourself. And that's not all it comes with, no, it is decked out like Verizon Cell Phones. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, a built-in direction sensor, a stopwatch and an mp3 player, among the more standard features of cell phones today.
In reality, this is sad because I doubt this phone sells really well. Many people don't have problems breaking their cell phones and therefore the market is rather small. However, for us who are accident prone it is more like a godsend via LG Cell Phones than just another mobile device. But I feel companies should find a way to make a profit on products that are not going to be number one sellers and all hyped up. Because when a company makes a product like this that fits a niche so well, those who do buy it will likely keep that company in high regard and therefore likely remain a customer for life. It's essentially quality over quantity. With this phone you get a quality customer for the long haul as opposed to many that may just be buying into a fad.
