Reasons For Buying An Automatic Pool Vacuum Cleaner And Choices

know that many people have hired people just to clean their pools but this is something that can really add up over time and I really couldn't justify spending that much money every year just to have a clean pool. One solution that I did however find that will save both time and money is a robotic pool vacuum because these are much cheaper than hiring a pool boy, although a pool boy may be more fun to look at.

A robotic pool vacuum will even save you money on energy, chemicals, clean up time, and water. So if you do not want to clean your pool yourself a robotic pool vacuum should be a good solution for you.

Once you decide that you want one then the shopping begins. When you shop for a robotic pool vacuum there will be a lot to choose from and your choice will depend on the type of pool you have.

Before you walk into your local pool store it is so important that you know everything that you can about your pool. To begin with, for example, you need to know if you have an in ground or above ground pool.

Each type of pool has a different type of robotic pool vacuum that will work best in it. There are also some special types of robotic pool vacuums that will work on any type of surface whether it is an above ground or in ground pool. Knowing the type of pool and pool surface you have will help you to determine what robotic pool vacuum is right for you.

A lot will depend on the type of pool you have and if you want to go with a suction based cleaner or a return pressure type one. A pressure return cleaner usually has it's own debris collection system whereas a suction based one, dumps large debris into your pump basket and the finer stuff directly into your filter. As you can see, a return based cleaner won't plug up your pump basket or filter like a suction based one possibly can.

If it's concrete, then hands down, a Polaris return based one is best, but also the most expensive. It's also helpful if there's a dedicated line for it already built into the pool wall and it's plumbing runs to your equipment area as well but it's possible to rig an over the deck feed for it. You'll also be installing it's associated booster pump ( one of the primary reasons these are the most expensive). They are generally run on a timer, such that they can be set up in the pool and clean on a schedule. The drawbacks to them, besides expense,is that they do require electricity to run their booster pumps and their initial set up can be a little difficult, but not impossible for an average home owner.

OK, you need to know how to maintain a pool's care. What chemicals you need to buy, and how often do to use them.

The best way is to call a pool company, that is if you have plenty of money to pay for this. If not buy one of those pool vacuums that roam all over the pool and keep the dirt and bugs out. You can buy a float device that holds chlorine and dispenses it on a regular basis to keep the proper amount in it. You will also need a PH tester to keep tabs on the PH if it gets to alkaline you shock it with extra chlorine. The tester will come with instructions. Its that easy you can do it yourself.

The filter on the pool can be turned into a vacuum by blocking the main intake and redirecting the intake to a long hose. It is used with a pole and vacuum head to remove debris from the bottom and sides of pool. It is the same as an outside pool.

The vacuum hose can, of course, be plugged into the intake for the filter. The filter takes out the stuff and returns the clean water to the pool. At the end of a set period the filter is cleaned.
