In order to experience a sauna properly, one needs to alternate hot and cold. Before you enter the sauna bath, you have rinse off to be as clean as possible. Make sure the sauna is heated up to the proper temperature before you use it; it can get as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit so make sure you are prepared to experience extreme heat! Stay in the hot room only as long as you can stand to; it might be as little as five minutes, which is fine. After the first round, take a cool shower or a dip in the pool. Then go back into the steam room and try to stay a little longer, maybe seven or ten minutes. Follow this round by a dip in cool water as well. Repeat this process as often as you like and your body will feel amazing in no time!
