Go-ogle refines its next operating system, Chrome OS SDK

While the manufacturer Acer should lift the veil on its first terminals with Chrome OS from the month of June at Computex, Google continues to refine its next operating system, and therefore made an announcement on its official blog for the first kit Development for its project Native Client. Distributed as open source, Native Client allows the developer to create web applications running natively through a browser. This results in a hybrid software written with the traditional web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in which it is possible to add portions of code in C or C + +.

This mixture would
be particularly efficient on web applications rather heavy type image editor or videos. Native client would thus reduce the bandwidth consumption while optimizing the responsiveness of the software. If Chromium OS is mainly oriented for web usage, they should be very optimized, a point not negligible, especially for terminal type booster internet tablets. Download the SDK from here.

New concepts of interfaces have also been published on the official website of Chromium OS. We find such a window manager that should certainly not be too pleasing to Apple since it incorporates the idea of Coverflow stickers. For this display, the user should press a dedicated button or perform a specific act on a multipoint slab. Google says that this device is based largely on the GLIDE concept developed by Peter Jin Hong and Elin Pedersen in the competition for Mozilla Labs Design. Long before, Apple X applications are already using this principle. Please understand that as big as MS, Apple & Co innovate is very little. Most often their R & D projects and small monitors to repoint concepts (even code) interest them. The problem is that many SMEs with very good projects are often cheated by the big companies.

It does not bothers most consumers whether they copy from a neighbor or not, it participates in the competition! But I wonder how the patent on the technology is going to be effected! If a company invents a product (tablet PC, etc..), Other companies should not be able to do the same product? Anyway I'm glad that google is launching it.
