Tirednedd and the Marines...how its dangerous!!

We then got issued our kit and then shown how to put it together. We finally got stood down at about 2130 and had plans to go into town for a few drinks. Unfortunately, we were so shattered, we sorted out kit for the following day, went down stairs for a bit to be social and then went to bed, taking advantage of the lay in we had been granted.

The next morning we got up sorted ourselves out and went for another lecture. We had to wear our webbing, which was meant to be prepared before going out (for those who did). Unfortunately for one guy he didn't and when he turned up on parade we all found out, when a corporal pulled him out in front of us. His webbing looked like hadn't bee touched with pouches hanging off. Needless to say he was ‘punished' by having to keep the press up position while the rest of us were inspected.

Luckily, no one else was sighted. It wasn't this guy's day, as he later got sighted for losing kit. After the lesson we then went for a brief on what out future training weekends were going to consist of, which was good to know. We left just after lunch and got home mid afternoon. Which was good as it meant I could go for a Jacuzzi to defrost. The training plan says we are meant to do a 4mile run, but as we did the phys the previous day I decided against it.
