If You Have an Inground Pool Do You Really Need an Inground Pool Automatic Cleaner

If you are in the planning stages of having an inground pool installed in your backyard then you will need to start thinking about inground pool automatic cleaners. If you have already done some price comparison shopping then you already may have noticed that there are some sharp differences between above ground and inground pool automatic cleaners.

Whats the deal? They are both pool cleaners, so shouldn't they both be similar in price? The fact of the mater, is that it is the cement sides of an inground pool that have to be scrubbed, that are responsible for the huge price differences. Also, inground pools tend to have more built in features in them such as islands and stairs that have to be maneuvered around.

This is why you can't substitute an above ground pool cleaner for a built in pool automatic cleaner. However; you will soon tire of the job that has to be done regularly, even during the middle of the winter when the pool isn't even being used.

One factor that will determine what type of inground pool automatic cleaner that you will need is the actual amount of debris that will end up in your pool. If your yard has trees that are prone to shedding leaves then that would be one good clue that you are going to need a sturdy well built unit, as it will be getting plenty of steady use.
