1. Initially, we prepare the substrate which implies to clean the entire previous applied product and foreign matter. The initial coat of PermaFlex will enter into the substrate and cure it as strong as a tire. The saturated Sani-Tred PermaFlex enduringly sticks on to the original substrate.
2. Moreover, you can patch and profile any joints, seams, cracks, holes and rough areas using LRB/TAV mixture (Liquid Rubber Base, Thickening Activator). When LRB is mixed with TAV you will obtain a thickened blend that can be used on any kind of thickness. Wall/floor junctions requires a 1” bead of LRB/TAV mixture.
LRB and/or LRB/TAV mixture will molecularly weld to the earlier ‘prime coat’ of PermaFlex to obtain an effect that will last for years. The coat of PermaFlex will molecularly weld to the preceding uses providing you an absolutely water-resistant and flawless application.
3. In any case do not forget to apply two parts of swimming pool epoxy. Our high quality products are defiant to chlorinated water.
4. Poured concrete swimming pools and most other common building materials need 2 coats of PermaFlex on walls and floors. Concrete block walls need an entire 3 coats of PermaFlex as blocked walls are extremely porous.
