The first liner is the overlap style pool liner. This kind of liner is folded over the walls of the swimming pool and placed inside the metal walls of the actual pool itself. The other type of above ground pool liner is the beaded above ground pool liner. It is basically the same thing as the other pool liner, but the only other difference is in the way that they are held in place. A beaded liner is snapped in on the top part of the pool along a track as where a overlapping pool liner is draped over the top part of the pool and clipped and then reinforced with another layer of metal on top.
