The Power of Pleasure

The topic, or better stated the "Realm of Pleasure" has always held great interest for me. When I look back over the many years of my enchanted life, I can see clearly that my decisions to choose the pleasure pathways have been most wise and powerful, not to mention entirely more desirable than the other options available. Pleasure for me comes in such a wide variety of forms that I find it impossible to get my thoughts to be specific around the subject in any logical, linear, writable fashion. It's just a vast, swirling, fascinating realm that I spend a considerable amount of time in. So I'm just going to write for the pleasure of it!

Greatest pleasure…… If I can sum it up simply, my greatest pleasure is always found through loving myself. Always!!! I can count on this truth no matter what is going on around me. If I choose to love myself above all things, my life unfolds like a magical faery tale. One of the many ways I love myself the most is by playing in the glorious realm of my imagination. Every night before I sleep and first thing each morning when I wake, I deliberately and deliciously spend time playing in my imagination. It brings me such divine pleasure just to focus my thoughts in directions that please me and to see how much pleasure I can derive from any particular imagining. Sometimes, I'll play the same vision or fantasy out over and over again…. taking it to a further and always more specific level each time. It will sometimes be the same theme for weeks or months. I don't do this in hopes that any particular fantasy will come true…..I do it for the pleasure I feel in the doing of it. Because what I want more than anything is to feel good. I expand my every bit of consciousness as wide as I can and just savor how it feels to take myself into such good feeling places. How good of a feeling place can I conjure? My quest continually goes higher and higher…..

I could break it down further into the specific kinds of imaginings or actions that I put forth but it's the more general topic of the benefits I receive from choosing pleasure that I want to express. Based on my believe that there is nothing more healing, rebalancing, rejuvenating, uplifting or powerful than experiencing any form of pleasure, I've quite deliberately set my life up to be absolutely full of it. I've chosen it as my art, my career, my field of expertise, my teaching. As a "student" in the of pleasure I begin to note the correlations between experiencing pleasure and manifesting that which I consider to be good. The more moments I spend in any given day allowing pleasure to flow into my life, the more my life continues to fall into alignment with all the delightful, delicious, fantastic "things" I desire. And as importantly, the "things" I considered undesirable seemed to just simply gravitate out of my life as though they no longer match what I'm about. So being the brilliant being that I am……I easily embrace the notion that the most powerful "action" I can ever take is to make the decision to allow more pleasure to flow to me every day than ever before. How do I know that my theory is correct? As with any theory….. just look at the evidence of the results. If at any given moment, you want to know how you're flowing your "creative" (and I use the word very literally) juices, just simply take a good long look at your life and feel how it feels to be living it!

I now live on a tropical island. I spend my time enjoying the most soothing and nurturing climate I can imagine. I spend countless moments doing nothing but ecstatically experiencing the breezy, balmy air as she sensually wraps herself around my skin. I have the privilege of watching my daughter Rosie blossom and radiate well-being and confidence as she matures so beautifully within this free flowing lifestyle. I spend the majority of my time naked or mostly naked. My "work" consists of either talking with the wisest, yummiest and most amazing women business co-conspirators and dear friends in the entire Universe or …gathering and circling with many, many other women while supporting them falling more deeply in love with themselves than ever before. My life is full of the most euphorically blissful scented and flavored lotions and potions that enrich the planet and her people. My self-love teachings are offered up using these potions as a medium to express my messages through. So basically….I spend a significant amount of time in the presence of outrageously beautiful women, naked or scantly clad, nourishing their bodies and souls with formulations I've created (and love and appreciate more every day) while they practice my teaching that nothing is more powerful than pleasuring oneself in whatever way one is inspired to do. And then ….. if you can believe this….they give me money!!!!! And beyond that…. I swim in the life giving waters of either the dolphin filled aqua-blue ocean or the clear effervescent pools constantly being refreshed by waterfalls lush from the tropical rains. I roll around in and scrub my body with powdery sand as soft as sugar. I spend hours focused downwards in the sand and rocks with expectant eyes and delight in the regular rush of pleasure as my eyes fall on yet another gorgeous seashell. I continually stick my nose right into the velvety center of the most heavenly scent flowers gracing the earth. I suck coconuts for breakfast and eat mangos naked more in any given week that most will in their lifetime. I dine on the freshest, sweetest, cleanest fish any ocean has to offer. I live in a community full of people who love and appreciate the blessing of their life so much and take the time celebrate it daily. I swing naked with my daughter in a tropical secret garden while butterflies flirt and bright red cardinals sing their joyful song of life. And very high up on this list is the fact that my life unfolds in a rhythm that is completely natural for me. This is sooooo big. I accomplish many, many things with the pleasure of doing what's just right for me in any given moment, versus living life as some external influence schedules it. So… when I look at my life in its totality as feedback to how my pleasure theory is working ……I feel my heart blossom into a wide, warm, succulently satisfied smile of knowing that I am sooooooo right. My life Rocks! And I know its only going to continue to get better and better because I understand how to create it the way I want it. What the Universe is delivering to us is not ramdom….. it's entirely, completely and amazingly specific. If you want a life full of pleasure……you must choose pleasure in every "now" moment you can. I am hear to tell you that the means is the end and you don't get to a pleasure filled place from settling for other than that along the way.

So when I find my life feeling other than how I want it to (and believe me….I do) it always means one thing for me. Not enough pleasuring, loving, adoring of myself is going on. There are even times, rarely but they do happen, that things have gotten so out of balance that I can't even feel anything. So what do I do???? I shrink it all down to the only real moment that I ever get to experience and that's the one happening right this second and I rekindle my expertise at figuring out what would be the most self-loving, pleasure giving act I could do to lead myself back to myself. It never takes me long. As with anything, the more you practice the more skilled you become and you better believe that I have greatly enjoyed the practice. And I'm coming to appreciate finding myself out of balance for the shear pleasure of bringing myself back in. And the more out I am…. oh darn…. it will call for even a greater level of pleasure to weave my way back. Pant Pant….Smile Smile….

So…..to sum it all up, I would have to say that if I'm an expert on anything, it's an expert on loving myself. And when I stop and think about it…… the thing I love the most about myself is how devotedly and brilliantly I love myself in every moment and the vast capacity I have evolved to allow pleasure in. It keeps me full, alive, excited, turned on, joyful, abundant, aware, smart and always delightfully anticipating the never ending array of ways in which the Universe creatively delivers the pleasure I'm so deserving of and completely available to receive. I feel like the sparkling full glass at the top of the Champagne Fountain. So full of myself and overflowing with love to share, that I'm giddily spilling my goodness all over "All That Is". I love knowing how important I am in holding the positive balance in this Universe and influencing so many, seen and unseen to a higher, happier and more fully connected place. It's such a good thing that I'm here and that I've so fully come to understand the never ending benefits of what so many consider to be a luxury, limited to certain times and certain places…..Pleasure. From my perspective, choosing to love yourself no matter what, and allow yourself access to the endless stream of pleasure that is your birthright, is the most political, revolutionary, life affirming, life changing, planet changing act that any of us can do. May so many of us chose this path that thousands of children never have to unlearn this natural way of being and that a wave of self-love and pleasure sweeps across this planet and through out the entire Universe that is completely, totally and divinely unstoppable. And if you stop to think about it…. if everyone just simply loved themselves and knew how to allow in pleasure, all of the "things" most of us consider unwanted would simply disappear as there would no longer be any reason for so many to act out their pain of disconnection in all the many ways they do. Whenever I have the honor of seeing anyone express an act of self-love, I take the time to thank them because I understand the immense benefit they have just offered to "All That Is". It's such a huge act that is so underestimated by so many. I believe it to be the most powerful act one can undertake. The motto of the businesses I participate within is "Pleasure Heals" and if you put it to the test….. you will find the truth that lies there within every time. So come on…..go ahead…. I double dog dare you……how much pleasure can you take????
